HumidiFi is a proprietary Automated Market Maker (Prop AMM) protocol built on the Solana blockchain, also known as a "dark pool DEX," designed to provide lower slippage, tighter spreads, and higher capital efficiency than traditional AMMs through proactive liquidity management and programmatic trading.

CoFounder: Kevin Pang
- He was previously a trading director at Paradigm and a trader at Jump Trading.
General Counsel: Cathy Yoon
- She is General Counsel at Wormhole, Temporal, HumidiFi, and Harmonic and previously served as Chief Legal Officer at MPCH Labs. She is a graduate of New York Law School and Swarthmore College.

The project is entirely self-funded, with no external funding. It sustains operations through protocol revenue (transaction fees, hedging profits) and has not conducted seed rounds, private placements, or pre-ICO pre-sales.

Product: HumidiFi offers a Prop AMM-driven dark pool DEX ecosystem designed specifically for Solana, including active liquidity management, a tight pricing engine, staking integration, and fee rebates.
Marketing: Supporting multiple trading models such as adaptive AMM curves, dark pool matching, and custom liquidity strategies, it has captured 35%-47% of Prop AMM trading volume on Solana.
Revenue: Earn revenue through trading fees. Users pay trading fees on the DEX, and staking $WET earns them a fee rebate. Additionally, ecosystem incentives and liquidity migrations also generate revenue.

Technical Architecture

The Technical Architecture of Tea Network is structured around four core layers:

Execution Layer: Utilizes a modified go-ethereum (Geth) client running EVM-equivalent execution, enabling minimal-change deployment of Ethereum smart contracts. Includes the GPG precompile at address for PGP cryptographic operations.
Consensus/Rollup Layer: Leverages Ethereum’s PoS consensus for security. A designated sequencer batches L2 transactions into blocks and submits them to Ethereum mainnet, providing instant L2 confirmations.
Data Availability Layer: L2 block data is published to Ethereum via calldata, with future upgrades (e.g., EIP-4844) enabling cost-efficient blob storage. Ensures L2 state reconstructability by anyone.
Fraud Detection Layer: As an Optimistic rollup, it allows a 7-day challenge window for submitting fraud proofs to dispute invalid state roots/transactions. Relies on Ethereum’s dispute resolution for security, requiring only one honest validator to secure the chain.
