Trump Tariffs Still Uncertain, US Bond Yield Stabilizes After Continuous Rise
BlockBeats News, July 9th. After rising for five consecutive trading days, the US Treasury yield has basically stabilized. The market is watching to see how likely Trump's tariff threats are to actually materialize, and what impact these policies will have on inflation and economic growth. The Federal Reserve will release the meeting minutes at 2 p.m. Eastern Time (2 a.m. Thursday Beijing Time). Meanwhile, the White House is pressuring the Federal Reserve to cut interest rates, and Trump is also looking for a candidate to replace Powell as Fed chair. Additionally, there will be a 10-year Treasury bond auction at 1 p.m. Eastern Time, following a lackluster demand for the 3-year Treasury notes auction the day before. (FXStreet)
