Trump: Global Tariffs to Be Raised from 10% to 15%
BlockBeats News, February 22nd. Donald Trump tweeted that the Supreme Court's tariff ruling yesterday was ridiculous and incompetent. In this regard, as the President of the United States of America, I will immediately raise the 10% global tariff imposed on many countries to a fully legal and legally verified 15% level. Many of these countries have been "exploiting" the United States for many decades without any punishment. In the coming months, the Trump administration will identify and announce new legitimate tariffs, which will continue our extraordinary process of making America great again—greater than ever before!
Yesterday, Trump signed a new tariff document imposing a 10% import tariff on all countries. The notice stipulates that within 150 days, a 10% import tariff will be imposed on goods imported into the United States, effective at 12:01 a.m. EST on February 24th.
