“Insider whales” once again shorted BTC with 40x leverage and ETH with 25x leverage, with positions as high as $232 million
Odaily News According to Ember’s monitoring, @qwatio, the “insider whale” who once lost $16.27 million by shorting BTC and ETH, opened a short position again. He redeemed 10 million USDC from Maker and transferred it to Hyperliquid. He has currently opened short positions worth $232 million, including 40x shorting 1,273 BTC (opening price $117,828) and 25x shorting 27,700 ETH (opening price $2,966).
