Chainlink Introduces State Pricing Pricing Mechanism, Optimizing Price Accuracy for Long-Tail Assets and DEX Trading Tokens
BlockBeats News, August 1st, according to official sources, Chainlink announced the launch of Chainlink State Pricing — a new pricing methodology designed specifically for long-tail crypto assets and tokenized assets traded on decentralized exchanges (DEX). This methodology aims to provide optimized price precision, market resiliency, and liquidity assessment for assets that have limited trading volume on centralized exchanges (CEX) but significant on-chain liquidity.
Currently, Chainlink State Pricing has been deployed on the mainnet, allowing users to access push-based oracle data through Chainlink Data Feeds or pull-based data services through Chainlink Data Streams. The initial assets supported by this pricing mechanism include wstETH, GHO, LBTC, cbBTC, ezETH, tBTC, and more. In the future, coverage will continue to expand to more assets, blockchains, and DEXs based on user demand.
