BlockBeats News, August 5th, the cryptocurrency infrastructure platform BounceBit is introducing Franklin Templeton's Tokenized Money Market Fund into its structured income platform BB Prime, combining US Treasury yield with cryptocurrency funds and basis arbitrage strategy to create an innovative product of CeDeFi (Centralized and Decentralized Finance integration).

This tokenized fund belongs to the BENJI product series and will serve as collateral and settlement tool in the investment strategy. Through this approach, investors can not only receive the underlying Treasury yield, but also overlay other sources of income. Franklin Templeton is one of the earliest traditional asset management institutions to issue tokenized funds on public chains, having launched the first tokenized US money market fund BENJI as early as 2021. The company stated in a release: "We have designed the BENJI tokenized money market fund series to meet the diverse needs of retail, wealth management, institutions, banks, and collateral around the world."

BounceBit works closely with Franklin Templeton to substantially integrate BENJI tokens into its active income strategy. BounceBit CEO Jack Lu stated that this marks "the first real-world application of tokenized Treasury bonds in an active income strategy."
