Bitlayer has released its latest product roadmap, dedicated to building the ultimate Bitcoin DeFi infrastructure
BlockBeats News, July 16th, focused on Bitcoin DeFi infrastructure, the Bitlayer project officially released its Summer Launch Event video. The event, themed "The Ultimate Bitcoin DeFi Infrastructure," saw project co-founders Kevin He and Charlie Hu systematically reveal Bitlayer's latest technical progress and detailed product roadmap for the first time, clarifying its goal of building the ultimate BTCFi infrastructure.
According to the information disclosed during the event, key recent developments by Bitlayer include:
1. BitVM Bridge Mainnet Beta Launch: After over half a year of internal testing and public beta phases, the first Bitcoin cross-chain solution based on the BitVM paradigm, BitVM Bridge Mainnet Beta version, was officially launched;
2. Release of Bitlayer Network 2.0 Whitepaper: The team officially released the Bitlayer Network 2.0 Whitepaper, marking the transition of Bitlayer Network into the Rollup architecture stage;
3. Bitlayer Network V3 to Focus on High-Performance Execution: The core goal of V3 is to address the high-performance execution challenge of the Bitcoin Layer 2 network, aiming to achieve: a customizable high-performance native transaction engine, horizontally scalable clustered system architecture, an EVM-compatible high-performance parallel execution engine, and provide a centralized exchange (CEX) level user experience.
