Anchorage Digital, Kamino, and Solana Company have launched a three-party custody model to support institutional SOL staking.
BlockBeats News, February 13th, Digital asset platform Anchorage Digital, Solana ecosystem liquidity protocol Kamino, and Solana Labs announced a partnership to launch a so-called "novel" tri-party custody model to help institutions stake SOL within a compliant custody framework.
According to the introduction, the service allows institutions to engage in on-chain lending and liquidity provision without moving assets out of regulated custody environments. Anchorage Digital will be responsible for collateral management, putting risk control and collateral management processes on-chain, while extending its Atlas collateral management system to integrate with Kamino and the Solana ecosystem.
