2025 Perp DEX Annual Rankings: Hyperliquid Tops the Charts in Trading Volume, Aster Leads in Web Traffic
BlockBeats News, January 19th, according to BlockBeats data, in the 2025 annual contract transaction volume, Hyperliquid took a significant lead with a transaction volume of $2.93 trillion, followed closely by Lighter and Aster. In terms of web traffic reflecting user attention, Aster ranked first with approximately 13.23 million visits, while Lighter and Hyperliquid had web traffic of approximately 11.65 million and 6.7 million respectively, ranking second and third. The ranking of transaction volume and traffic varies among platforms, and some platform data is compared as follows:
Hyperliquid: Contract transaction volume $2.93 trillion, web traffic 6.7 million;
Lighter: Contract transaction volume $1.314 trillion, web traffic 11.65 million;
Aster: Contract transaction volume $791 billion, web traffic 13.23 million;
EdgeX: Contract transaction volume $586 billion, web traffic 1.1 million;
ApeX: Contract transaction volume $338 billion, web traffic 1.7 million;
Pacifica: Contract transaction volume $82 billion, web traffic 870,000;
Note: Since Pacifica's mainnet was launched only in June of last year, it had no transaction volume in the first half of 2025. The overall data is relatively low, and the transaction volume currently being reported is mainly from the period from September, when the platform entered a rapid growth phase, to December 31st.
